Publisher’s Marketing Association selected The Parent’s Toolshop as a 2001 top-three finalists for the “Bill Fisher Award,” for the Best First Book by a New Publisher. This award is the most prestigious of the 54 “Benjamin Franklin” awards given by PMA. The award is open to all publishers, large and small, so there are usually close to 2000 entries. The judges come from all areas of the publishing industry: major media reviewers, bookstore buyers, writers and non-competing publishers. |
